Marc Emory Bosem, MD graduated from the University of Miami Medical School and has been performing eye surgery since 1992. He is among the first in the United States to perform many of the latest techniques in vision correction including LASEK/PRK and LASIK. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and he is also a Moria and Bausch & Lomb certified LASIK surgeon. He has authored numerous publications on glaucoma, cataract, and laser vision correction surgery. Dr. Bosem specializes in vision correction surgery including: LASEK/PRK, LASIK, ALK, AK, RK, Crystalens, Restor, and Verisyse.
Dr. Marc Bosem is one of the nation's leading refractive surgeons. He has performed thousands of vision corrective procedures. He has been active in research into the effects of laser on the front of the eye (cornea). Dr. Bosem has presented and lectured about his techniques to numerous national and international meetings.
Dr. Bosem received his degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine with Honors in Research. His Ophthalmology residency training was performed at the University Of Texas Health Science Center. A fellowship in research was performed at the University of California San Diego, where he studied the effects of excimer laser on the visual system and the treatment of glaucoma. He is now the medical director of the Correct Vision Laser Institute.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Miami Ophthalmologic Society and the International Society of Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Bosem was certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology in 1997. In 2005, Dr. Bosem was among the elite doctors who have chosen to be tested and recertify with the American Board. By 2005, less than 20 percent of US Ophthalmologists have proven their continued commitment to learning, knowledge and skill to the American Board and have been re-certified.
His goal is to combine good old fashioned care with state of the art techniques. He feels that it is important to tailor the treatment to the individual.

Dr. Max Corndorf is a graduate of Emory University and the University of Miami School of Medicine. After a year of surgical residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital he moved to Washington where he did his Ophthalmology training at the George Washington University Hospital and was ultimately named Chief Resident there. After a fellowship at the Katzen Eye Institute in Baltimore, Dr. Corndorf moved his family to Minnesota where he was a member of the staff at the highly renowned Park Nicollet Medical Center. He later founded the Cataract and Laser Center in Southern Minneota and was the first surgeon in that region to perfom Phacoemulsification with foldable lens implants.
Dr. Corndorf is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He joined the staff of Correct Vision in 2006.
Shawn J. Khan, MD, MBA, FRCSC has been performing eye surgery since 1997. He completed his glaucoma fellowship at the world renowned Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and has become a nationally recognized expert in the medical and surgical management of patients with all types of glaucoma. Dr. Khan spent over two years as a full time faculty member at the University of Michigan’s prestigious W.K. Kellogg Eye Center where he performed glaucoma and cataract surgery, instructed residents and fellows on surgical techniques, and performed scientific research in the area of glaucoma diagnosis and treatment. He has authored numerous ophthalmic publications, been involved in several ophthalmic clinical trials and has lectured extensively on glaucoma both nationally and internationally.
Dr. Khan, who grew up in Canada, received his Bachelor’s degree and medical degree from McGill University. He completed residency training in ophthalmology at both McGill University and Albany Medical College where he was honored to receive the designation of Chief Resident. His glaucoma fellowship at the Wills Eye Hospital provided him with state of the art techniques and skills for the medical and surgical management of patients with glaucoma including selective laser trabeculoplasty, trabeculectomy with antimetabolites, tube shunt surgery and cataract extraction in patients with glaucoma.
Dr. Khan is a member of the American Glaucoma Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery and many other ophthalmology-related groups.
He is a board certified in ophthalmology by both the American Board of Ophthalmology and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and has received medical licenses in Florida, California, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania and Ontario.
